I love shooting at the Hammersmith Apollo. Since the venue
is often used for television broadcasts, the have extremely bright colour balanced lighting – more the pity is wasn’t
used tonight and things were a little gloomy. Since I shot the first act, I was in the venue for the start of their
performance, and lo and behold, I was the only photographer there. That changes halfway through the first song when
the usual suspect showed up. I wanted to stay to catch the whole performance, but had to rush off to process the
images and get them off to the agency. Drat.
