PR Girl wanted us to wait in the lobby, rather than next to
the stage before we could be taken into the pit. We were supposed to take the third, fourth and fifth songs – fine by me,
but photographers being photographers we all hung around the entrance to the pit instead, rather than wait a kilometre
away at the other end of the palace. Security herded us back stage like sheep to wait until we were allowed out. Franz
Ferdinand really come into their own when they are live. Lighting was better with a big projection screen behind. Good
show – wanted to stay, but after our three songs we were herded out of the hall. Drat.
