Shepherd’s Bush Empire on one hand is a great venue to photograph in (when there is a pit) because the stage
is very low, but the lighting is often crap and some of the security have to be the most incompetent little Nazi’s one could ever meet. The tour manager Sean Rickett
kindly let me go back to catch the rest of the show but my Romanian was limited so it was a fight to get back in. What a voice Harry Collier has – it’s another
instrument in the band that just fills the hall – combined with big sweeping melodies this band stands out from the rest.
