John Waite – Lancaster boy – very punky looking rocker – looks like a
working class street rebel but had the huge pop hit “missing you” in the early eighties. Now heading off in a C&W directions – actually up for
a Country Music Award. Always a thrill when performers have the balls to completely rework songs and present something different.
